I remember when I had a blog to make some experiment I accessed through a russian proxy, google ads were offering siberian tigers, other japanese whores. That's one of the reasons I closed my blog (I felt bad, kind of like promoting animals smuggling in an idirect way.. :-( g**gle sucks!) Google doesn’t give a cr*p , in fact they are much more corrupt than that site. That is completely different from me allowing my content to be aggregated in the several planets I am member of, or someone reading my content in a news reader. In both cases they have explicit or implied permission, and the content is directly linked to my site so it is also explicitly attributed. That said, if any of the planets I am associated with started running adverts, then I would absolutely reconsider my involvement with them. Isn't google-reader doing the exact same thing? Showing your content, with your name, linking to your site, with ads on the side to make money?
